Carol is a Quality Manager at Pediatric Surgery Centers. She is responsible for risk management, bench marking, and patient satisfaction. Carol is no stranger to Pediatrics—she spent 31 years as an RN in various pediatric settings, including 16 years in the outpatient surgery setting.
Carol is a Registered Nurse and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing from The Medical College of Georgia. Carol is also a Licensed Healthcare Risk Manager and holds a CASC designation from The Board of Ambulatory Surgery Certification. In 2012, she became a surveyor with The Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care to further enable her to increase her knowledge base of Quality and Standards of health care.
In her spare time, Carol is an avid butterfly gardener—her garden has even been certified by the National Wildlife Federation. She also stays busy with her daughter, who plays fast-pitch for the Sarasota Heat.
