Dr. Frank Sierra

Dr. Sierra specializes in Pediatric Dentistry and has been involved in family-centered care and oral health care for children with special needs for over 20 years. 

Dr. Sierra has been involved in family-centered care and oral health care for children with special needs for over 20 years. A native of Tampa, he graduated from The University of South Florida with a Bachelors degree in Natural Sciences and Master of Science in Public Health. He earned Doctor of Dental Medicine from The University of Florida College of Dentistry with awards in pediatrics. Following dental school, he completed residency training in pediatric dentistry at University of Florida-Shands Hospital. He is board certified in pediatric dentistry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Sierra has served as President of Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Florida Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association, and is on the clinical faculty at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics.  He is an author and has made national presentations in the dental care of the child with facial differences. 
 
He and his wife, Theresa, are kept busy with the activities of their five children and by being active members of their community.
